Rotary Kiln Working Process
After washing the reused the activated carbon by acid-basis liquid and purified water, the wet carbon is put into the rotary kiln to dry by high temperature gas. In the rotary kiln, the carbon is heated by hot steam to 650-800 degrees centigrade. The drying zone temperature is 100-150 degrees centigrade, and the carbonization zone temperature is 650-700 degrees centigrade. The rotary kiln which going on the thermal process regeneration consists of tube of spiral feeding, head cover, rotary kiln, heat retaining furnace, cooling discharging machine, tilt adjuster, electrical control box, etc.
The connection parts of tube with head cover and cooling discharging machine adopt end sealing which could ensure the gas tightness. The vanes of spiral feeding is not continuous, which could make the feeding propeller is full of activated carbon and ensure the gas tightness.
Heat retaining furnace consists of furnace shells, refractory bricks, heating element. The whole furnace is divided into three parts. The heating temperature is auto controlled which could make sure the temperature in the three zones are qualified. The temperature in the rotary kiln tube is not heterogeneous. The temperature in the middle regeneration zone is highest. While the temperature of the feeding end and discharging end is lower.
