Regenerative furnaces have two chambers, each containing refractory material, called the checker. While in one chamber the combustion gases pass through the checker and enter the furnace in the other chamber the checker is heated, or regenerated, with the outgoing hot exhaust gas. The furnace operates in two cycles, where about every 30-90seconds; the flow is reversed so that the new combustion air can be heated by the checker. Typical air preheat temperatures (depending on the number of ports) are normally in the range of 1000-1200 ºC, sometimes up to 1250º C. Regenerative furnaces are very common in industry.
After passing through reversing system into the right side of regenerative burner, air was preheated, and combustion with gas in the chamber of stove to generate fuel gas , when fuel gas get into the left side of regenerative burner , a lot of heat was carrying by fuel gas was absorbed in heat retainer (ceramic honeycomb)in the regenerative burner
After a reversing recycle (about 30-90 seconds), the original heat regenerator group, and now release the heat, on the contrary, the exothermic heat regenerator group, and now absorption of heat.
Repeat the above description the process of burning, recycle.
By means of the process of combustion and recycle the waste heat, the temperature of fuel gas fall below 150℃,the waste heat was taken good use of it, reduce the loss.
HTAC is totally new combustion technology and widely spread and applied in developed country since 1990s.
HTAC has the advantages of high efficiency of waste gas recycle, high temperature preheat air and low pollution emission.
Our company is the first time combine the heat accumulating type reversing high temperature air combustion technology(HTAC) with the calcine stove, we have researched external regenerative heat calcining upright furnace, which has the features of low energy consumption, furnace temperature uniformity , easy control the stove temperature, high efficiency and energy saving .
Material feeding into furnace via preheating, calcination, cooling, final products fall to bottom of the conveyor, The CO2 and stone exchange heat, temperature lower down to 50°C, and then going into CO2 recovery system. The heating system using heat accumulating type reversing high temperature air combustion technology (HTAC), thermal efficiency is greater than 95 percent.
